More drawings!

Hey all,

Yeah I know, more drawings but no real update. Sorry about that. Still, I hope you enjoy these.

Like I said, it's for a project with the gang from Réseau Gamer. One of the members of the team is going to make an RPG using us as main characters. He's making it with RPG maker or something. Any who, I was inspired by that project to draw a couple of drawings. I don't know if he can use them -- I should probably scan them and send them to him -- but at least he could use them as character design reference.

Anyway, here they are;

Until the, this is me signing off.

Not dead yet!

Hey all,

I've just noticed that it's been a while since I posted something up here. And so I've decided to come and give you a bit of a heads up. I've been keeping busy, what with writing for Réseau Gamer, writing fiction, playing games and watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer with J on Netflix. (Before that it was Murder She Wrote... don't ask.)

Still, all this time I kept thinking that I should post something for you guys to read, assuming of course my blog is at all followed. I think the only people that follow this thing is my sweetheart J and a couple of my friends. But my first love of writing did come through my blog, so I shouldn't be giving it up totally.

I do have an ulterior motive for putting up a post. I just drew a couple of pictures that I need to share with some people on the team of Réseau Gamer and since I can't put up the pics directly into the forum, I decided to use this instead. Also, I draw. Ooo pretty. ^-^

So in anycase enjoy these pics and expect a real post soon.

Until then this is me signing off.

Saturday Morning Cartoons

Hey all,

Yes I haven't written here in a while... sew me. :P But in my defense... come to think of it I have no real defense so let us just attribute this to laziness or procrastination. ^-^ And I've been on a vacation last week so whatever.

Anyway, I figure it's only fitting that I bring you a Saturday Morning Cartoon for your troubles of waiting. This time I'll put a lot of them as per my usual apology. However they all come from the same cartoon. Kind of. Anyway, without further ado, I present to you:

Kidd Video

So as you can see the premise of the show was that a bunch of teens -- or young adults -- who are part of a band get sucked into the cartoon world by this evil dude who wants them to do musical labor work for him.

Now since this was obviously a band that was formed for the purpose of the show, they kinda had to show some of their work at the end of the episodes... which turned out to be pretty decent. Here's a glimpse at them.

Kidd Video - A Little TLC

Kidd Video - You Better Run (Sorry for the bad quality, it's either this or out of synch. :/)

Kidd Video - Come Back to Me

Kidd Video - Video Romeo

Kidd Video - Time

Kidd Video - Where Did Our Love Go?

Kidd Video - It's Over When The Phone Stops Ringing

Kidd Video - Easy Love

Yeah I guess that should be enough to tide you over. ^-^

Until then, this is me signing off.

New Netbook Get

Hey all,

As you can see by the title, I got myself one of those mini laptops. The reason for this purchase you ask. The simple fact that I’m starting to have this itch to write more and more now. Why? I just don’t know, but if I ever find an answer, you guys will be the first to know.

This itch is so great that as of now I’m supposed to be going back to work but I’m writing this instead. Ugh! I guess I have to go back now….

Okay, I’m back and on my lunch break. I hear what you’re saying though. You guys are wondering that if I’m starting to write again, then why I am not writing more on my blog. Well that’s because I have more then one project going. See I have this blog here, I’m also writing on a French gaming website that my friend started, and I also have a project for a book and a short story – although I’m taking my time with those two things.

Yeah I know. A book. Pretty ambitious aren’t I? The thing is, I didn’t mean for it to be a book. I just started writing something that I thought would be a short story and it turned out that it wanted to become something longer. I don’t know if it will be one of those big brick of a book. But it just wasn’t a short story. I still have a lot of it that I need to transcribe on a word processer; I had started writing it in a spiral notebook. A notebook is fine when you have short ideas or texts like this blog you want to write, but when it comes to a book, the less transcribing you do the better. (Dam, I should do a chapter when I get home.)

Scratch that, the less transcribing you do of any text, the better it is. The thing is, since I started writing for the gaming website I need a lot of my spare time to game so I can write about them. And sometimes I have a lot of down time at work. Hence the recent purchase. Now I can use that down time to write what I want without worrying too much about putting it back on the computer afterwards. I just copy and paste. And I’m seriously thinking about getting wireless internet for it too so I can write straight on my blog or the websites forum when I want to. Oh so many possibilities. ^-^ I just hope nobody from work catches on to what I’m doing. Well, I guess if I respect my breaks and everything I should be ok.

But sometimes it’s hard. As I’m writing this there’s only 10 minutes left before the end of my break and I need to go back to work. But the thing is, I don’t feel that it’s enough. I want to continue sitting here and write until I have nothing more to write about. I know it’s pretty crazy. And all good really. For the last couple of years, I kind of felt that there was something creative missing from my life. I thought it was drawing and/or painting. But it turns out that it’s writing.

The thing is when I was in high school I never really liked writing… much. I add much because that statement is not totally true. I didn’t like writing about stuff that I didn’t want to write about. And coincidentally, I didn’t like reading. I’m not adding much to this one because it was true. I would rather read comic books then read a novel. But apparently that is also reading – even if most of the text is surrounded by a lot of drawings. But in the past several years, I’ve started to add books to my reading. And although I’m sure they’re not all master pieces – I’ve read all of the Harry Potter series. Shut up it’s pretty good – at least I’m reading. Which is the one thing that you need to do when you write apparently. Or so Stephen King says in his book On Writing given to me by my lovely J. on my birthday. (Thanks again baby. ^-^)

Anyway, again the clock says I need to go back and I don’t want to. (It’s actually 5 minutes after the proposed time.) I seriously want to stay here. L Oh well! I have to go. But don’t want to. But need to go. Ugh!

Until then this is me signing off.

P.S.: In case you were wondering, this purchase was soooo worth it. ^w^

Saturday Morning Cartoons

Hey all,

I know it's been a while since i last posted anything. But for you this means more then one cartoon intro. Although, I will do it themed again. Why? Because it's my blog. ^w^

So without further ado, I present to you Spider-Man through the years.

Spider-Man 67

Spider-Man 81

Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends

Spider-Man 94

Spider-Man Unlimited

Spider-Man: The New Animated Series

The Spectacular Spider-Man

Anybody who knows me knew that this post was bound to come up. What can I say? I just love superheroes. And my favorite one is Spider-Man.

Perhaps in a small way I kinda fell a kin ship with him even after my coming out. And no I don't do whatever a spider can. I'm talking more about the fact that he has to keep himself hidden from the rest of the world. And I guess also the living with the consequences of your actions aspect of the comic his very strong for everyone. Or at least for me. (With great powers, comes great responsibilities.)

I think that's what makes him so popular. He's not a super powerful hero, but he his very human. It's a wonder he didn't have a burn out at the age of 18 what with going to school, helping with his aunt May's money problems and fighting off the Sinister Six. I think that when the odds are against you, just look at Spidey's life. He may be just a fictional character in a comic. But if you take a look at his life, I'm sure you can find solace in yours by saying: "Well, at least I don't have to fight an eight limbed octopus man and a rhino man at the same time."

I'm just saying.

Until then, this is me signing off.

Bonus:
There was also two live interpretations of Spider-Man way before the movie came out. While the one that's made here was kinda obvious since there was other superheros on North American TV, like Batman and Wonder Women, the one that was made in Japan is kinda puzzling. Especially since he had a giant robot with him. Go figure...

Writing for a friends site

Hey all,

So one of my friends asked me to join a project that he's doing and I actually decided to do so.

His project is a web site on gaming, however the twist is that it's in french. Like he said, he's never seen something like IGN for the french gaming community and he thought that it would be cool to try and do something like that. Of course right now it's just volunteer work and it's a really low key to start with, but with hard work, I believe the project could be very beneficial.

And so, this marks the first time that I publish my writing online in my native french Canadian language. Actually, come to think of it, not exactly. I did a blog post in french over at my old blog -- which died by the way. However, it wasn't so much an original text more than a translation. It was something warning women to be careful about something I can't remember and I thought it was important to pass along the message in English and French. Ok so this marks the first time I publish an original text in french.

I am also quite proud of myself because I told my friend that if I do this, I present myself the way that I am. I didn't have to say it was non-negotiable since he said he had no qualms regarding that and said that if people had problems with this, then that's their problem. he was quick to ask me not to make a big deal out of it though. He figured that I'd do what I do and if people would find out, well we'll let the chips fall where they may.

I agreed to that and added that I had no trans agenda for the gaming site -- I already have this site for that -- and that it would be and will be games first and game related stuff. I did however tell him that I would talk about me to the rest of the team out of respect. He said that it was ok by him.

And so I did. And so far so good. I just hope that the rest of the team will show me as much respect as I show them.

As for not presenting myself to the public of that site. Well after each entry I do, there is a brief description of who I am with a picture -- the picture with a Chinese parasol. While I do agree I look feminine in that pic, I still think I look kinda guyish. So I figure that by looking at my picture people will be able to tell pretty quickly.

Perhaps the subject of my true identity will be discussed eventually in the forum. Who knows? At that point I'll figure out what to do -- which is pretty easy to think about really. ^-^

Until then this is me signing off.

Saturday Morning Cartoons

Hey all,

Another cartoon that I liked that was more geared towards girls was She-Ra: The Princess of Power. It was basically He-Man but for girls and, like many cartoons of the 8o's, a half hour commercial for toys. Tell you what though, I'll put bought of them up here so there won't be any fight -- but I'm putting She-Ra first. ^-^

She-Ra

He-Man

Interesting fact. I used to have a lot of He-Man toys actually, (Remember, I was born a boy and I actually had all the Rambo toys too.) And when She-Ra came out I totally wanted her. My parents where kind of reluctant at first since it was considered a girl toy. But I convinced them by saying I wanted her because she was He-Man's sister. Although with hind sight, I think I had ulterior motives for wanting it. *grins*

Until then this is me signing off.

Saturday Morning Cartoons

Hey all,

So you might of noticed that a lot of the cartoons I've put up since now have been more for boys. Or rather cartoons that boys would be more interested in considering the subjects of the shows. But being a geeky Tgirl, you have to realize that most of the stuff that is interesting for boys are also interesting to me. That being said, I did like some cartoons that had more of a girl audience in mind.

And one of them that I think was very much influence on me being a Tgirl was Jem. No I'm not saying that she looked like a transvestite... even though she dressed very much outrageously. But I did like all of the stuff that she was wearing in the show and I also was very jealous of that -- I kept thinking; 'Why won't I be able to wear those beautiful dresses.' Little did I know at that time that it was actually possible. ^-^ So without further ado, I present to you the intro to Jem.

Jem

See what I mean. This girl was awesome.

Until then this is me signing off.

Camera Get!!!

Hey all,

So last month was my birthday. I went to visit my parents since it was also the long Easter week-end. They got a camera. Not a super high end one. Just a normal one, but it does have 10 megapixels or something like that. ( I'm not one that knows much about cameras. ) Still, this is a pretty cool gift-- that along with J's gifts of Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and Stephen King's book On Writing. ( Yeah, the other day I started writing something and she thought it would be a good gift to give me. ) I'm quite happy about the camera though since I didn't have any of my own.

I know what you're thinking. A transvestite without a camera, that's unheard of. Sadly it exited in the form of me. I guess I never got around to buying one. To busy to use my money to buy games and movies and make up and clothes -- not necessarily in that order though. ^-^

J was very happy that I got the camera. She actually turned into a veritable Kid Kodak that same week-end. But she's mostly happy that we'll get to document... well me. And with the new computer that has a burner on it now, we'll be able to store those photos on discs. Before that the only camera I had was a little Xbox 360 web cam. Of course it doesn't cut it anymore. And the pictures I did have of myself were lost when my older PC crashed. That really suxxored.

Anyway, this was a long way to get at this.

These are pictures of me we took just yesterday and I'm actually quite pleased with the results despite the fact that I'm sans make up. I don't know if there will be much of these in the future -- the 'without make up' kind. But there should be more pictures period. ^-^

Until then this is me signing off.

Saturday Morning Cartoons

Hey all,

Ok so again I missed a couple of saturdays, but you all know what that means though. Yes more then one videos. ^-^ Lucky you. However there's a twist to this though. See it will all be the same show, but different versions of it. ( Japanese, english, etc. ) Dragonball Z probably is one of the most influential Anime that was ever created. You've all at least heard of it for sure if you've never seen it. I'll admit right away it's not for everyone, but like Tezuka sama's Tetsuwan Atomu/Astroboy, Dragonball had fans around the world.

Japanese Opening 1

Japanese Opening 2

Japanese Opening 3 ( For the 20th anniversary of the show. )

English Opening ( Sorry couldn't find a better quality with that song. )

German Opening 2

French Opening

Spanish Opening

Ok I think this should cover it. ^-^ ( That and you might not even be albe to read this right now since there might be to many videos on my page. O_o )

Until then this is me signing off.

Portal 2 Get

Hey all,

So I got my grubby little mites on Portal 2 last Sunday. I have to say, this game is pure genius -- although I have to admit that it's pretty short. That being said, I still didn't try the multiplayer game which is apparently very good from what I heard.

If you've played the first Portal you pretty much know what to expect, but if you don't, let me explain it in a fairly simple way. This game is basically a 'first person puzzler' -- a first person shooter in which your goal is not to shoot stuff -- or people -- but to solve puzzles. Your gun shoots portals, a blue and an orange one. These portals allow you to enter one and exit the other -- if you enter the blue you'll exit the orange and vice versa. This is basically the core mechanics of the game.

Now it may sound ridiculous, and rightly so if you shoot one portal next to the other, but when you have to cross a gap that you can't go around or jump over, then the portal gun becomes extremely handy. All you need to do is shoot one portal on your side of the gap and the other on the opposite side and voilà, you've got a way across. This sounds extremely simple at first -- or maybe super complicated -- but the farther you go in the game, the harder the puzzles become as you need the portals to pass objects, lasers, light bridges and other stuff through them.

The second game starts off... I don't know how many years after the first one, but you still play as Chell only this time you wake up in what seems to be a cheap motel room. You then meet Wheatley, an unsure A.I. core that moves around a ceiling track. He brings you back to the testing facilities of Aperture Science to help you escape -- although how Chell was brought back to those facilities is beyond me. It turns out that the cheap motel room is actually an Aperture prison/suspended animation room.

Once you get at the facilities, you realize that years have gone by since the last time you were there. The testing chamber have decayed and also vegetation has been growing in them for quite some time. Wheatley helps you along your path to freedom but tells you that the only way to escape is through 'her' room. And because of a fsck up on his part, GLaDOS is once again awake. She then takes you and puts you back into the testing chambers just like good old times. I don't want to say anymore because I don't want to spoil it for you guys.

Once again, I must commend Valve on the writing because the sequel makes sense. It doesn't make perfect sense, but it's believable enough for me to get sucked in. The chatter that GLaDOS and Wheatley -- and also other voices -- offers is anything but boring. It also serves to give you insight as to what was going on and what happened to Aperture Science.

The graphics are amazing. Valve really put everything they could into this game. At the same time though, the super awesome graphics leads me to a miner grippe that I have about the game. Loading times/screens, something that wasn't in the first game -- or very little depending on what format you were playing. Portal seamlessly ran from the beginning to the end without any pause for loading. Portal 2 not only has loading screens between each test chambers, but sometimes during the heat of the moment, the loading screen pops up and breaks the momentum. Like I said thought, it's a miner grippe.

I'm dying to try the multiplayer now. Problem is though, I don't want to play with a totally random fscktard on Xbox Live. It would be better to play with someone I know. But I guess I'll make a little sacrifice just to be able to try it. I may fall on someone completely awesome though. In the multiplayer game, you play as either Atlas or P-body. Two robots that GLaDOS created after Chell escapes in the main game. So in essence, it's kinda like a sequel to the single player story. You run around with your friend trying to figure out the puzzles that were created for these two robots. Apparently, some puzzles require simultaneous actions. I will keep you posted if I ever try it.

All in all, I think Portal 2 will probably be the first game that I reviewed on any blog that will receive the highest note. I give this game the perfect score of 5 thumbs up despite it's miner flaws. I suggest you pick up this game. You'll thank me later.

Until then this is me signing off.

PSN Down - Possible Hacker Attack - Somewhat Brainfart

Hey all,

In what will probably be considered a 'dark day for PlayStation 3 owners', Sony went on record stating that the reason PlayStation Network was down is because of a hacker or hackers. ( Probably not their exact phrasing, but you get the drift. )

Around the period of the 17 and 19 of April, Sony noticed a security breach and decided to shutdown PSN hence depriving hundreds of thousands of people, if not millions, to access online content and online games. But what sucks is that, even while knowing this, they only decided to announce it to the users, in the 26th, that it was a security breach. The type of information that the hackers could have access to are the following: name, address, country, email, birthday and PSN/Qriocity password and login and PSN online ID.

They could also have your profile data, including your purchase history and billing address, and your PSN/Qriocity security answers. So as it stands, they have the basic package for Identity theft for an undetermined number of people. Gravy!!! But hark, what is this? Apparently hackers may also have users credit card data if they just so happened to use them online. I say 'may have', because Sony has stated that it is uncertain if hackers indeed have this info, however they do not rule out the possibility. Through their blog and also an email they will send the users, they have advised people to check their credit card statements and given them information on how to do so.

All in all, my beef is not so much with the fact that PSN got hacked. I mean give enough time to hackers and they will prove to you that the impossible is in fact quite possible. I in no way condone what they do. But the fact of the matter is, if you want the best security, you hire a hacker and not only that, you constantly have to upgrade your stuff so as not to get hacked. My beef is with Sony not warning anyone that their was an intrusion on the 19.

I say this in all reserve because I don't own a PS3 and I'm not on PSN. But if this were to happen to the Xbox 360 online community, I would hope that Microsoft would warn all of their users through email that their was a security breach despite our information being compromised or not. Call it a heads up if you will. Cause at that point I could start changing my passwords on my emails and whatever else I would have the same password for.

No, what Sony decided to do was to shut down PSN and call a security firm to fix the problem. Then when they saw that there was a possible information leak, they informed the people. That's real great. So I guess if people get charged by every possible porn website in the last couple of days, then they'll know that hackers got their credit card numbers.

Until then, this is me signing off.

Saturday Morning Cartoons

Hey all,

No I didn't miss it last saturday. I was actually out of town to visit my parents. So no bonus for you guys. :P But I think the intro is still pretty cool in itself.

Pac-Man

I'm sure this brings back memories to some if not most of you. I hope you've enjoyed. ^-^

Until then, this is me signing off.

On fscktards!

Hey all,

While I would like to talk to you about the the other week-end I spent with my girlfriend in which we decided to go to Ikea as Girlfriend and Girlfriend. There's something else I want to talk about.

Since I've started dressing up and going into public in 2006, I've never encountered any problems. The worst I had encountered was the heckling of a couple of people a year or so ago in the metro. They didn't do anything because I didn't pay much attention to them. ( Actually that's not accurate. I didn't want to pay them attention. ) Apparently being a transvestite with a bright pink leather coat will do that. What helped is that I had a book and focused my attention on that so that the heckling would sound like the teachers in Peanuts cartoons. But all in all, I think I managed that incident pretty well.

Fast forward to 2011, last Thursday where I get ready to go meet J and a friend for supper downtown. I finish my routine of showering, do hair and make up and I get out the door. I go to the bus stop near our house. Well actually, we live between two bus stops of the same line, so one is not necessarily closer to the other. One just feels closer. Now to get there, I walk past this place that J and I suspect is a drug house. This young teenager of arabian nationality was sitting on the stoop. He asked me a question regarding if I was either a man or a woman. I answered him, and I don't know why I do this with people when they ask me this question, to guess. Now that kinda got him excited, and not in a good way, and he called out two of his friends that were in the house. At first I was like: 'Ok whatever, show and tell time.' And I was concentrating on looking for the time of the next bus passage. Then I felt them gathering around me and I went: 'Oh oh!' And basically I was right because one of them, probably the most insecure in his masculinity, said something that sounded like 'rushing magnet'. ( Ok ok. He said fscking faggot. But actually in french. So it was more like 'Stie d'tapette'. ) At that point I decided it was not safe to stand there and walked back to the other bus stop. They yelled something again which I can't remember to which I answered with the honor finger.

I thought I was safe. But I turned around to look and they were following me. I'll tell you this now, I was fracking scared.

Now here's a dilemma that I'm facing. I don't know the law to well and most of what I could write here I've already wrote in a complaint to the cops. In fact the beginning of the story I've already wrote in the complaint as well. So I don't know if I continue writing about it, it will hinder my case in any way. I'll make you a deal. Let's wait a couple of months and I'll tell you about it. ( Chances are that it will never pan out and that the investigation will lead to a dead end. ) Suffice it to say that it wasn't pretty even though it wasn't too serious but it's still the basis of the complaint and it's apparently treated as a minor hate crime. It ended when I decided to stand my ground and told them that I didn't want them to follow me anymore. But I tell you this, even if I did puff my chest at that moment, I was fracking scared.

Thoughts of going into neighboring businesses had crossed my mind, but I didn't want to be a bother to them. ( That is a way of thinking I have to get rid of A.S.A.P. ) But in any case, I thank my lucky stars, cause I must have more then one, that it didn't get to serious. But even so, they've left a little fear in me that I don't want. Cause this happened at around 7h30 in the evening. Mind you, these kids were probably the most insecure bunch of fscktards the world as ever bored. Seriously, they were three against one solitary transvestite. If their goal was to install fear in me, then i would say they've succeeded. If their goal was to install so much fear in me that I won't go out anymore. Then they can kiss my tranny ass.

When this happened, one of them asked me: 'Aren't you ashamed of what you are doing?' and I answered him: 'No I'm not ashamed!'. God was also mentioned in this. The traditional: 'God made you a man so why do you want to become this?'. I didn't go into any spiel because I knew it would fall on deaf ears. They were just a bunch of monkeys trying to put words together to sound intelligent.

If for some odd reason they would read this blog, and I know that's not gonna happen because they seem to speak only french, I would say to them: 'Lighten the fsck up!'. The only reason why you guys did this is because you're insecure in your own masculinity. Some of you probably already fantasized of sucking a cock, or getting it from behind. But what you don't understand is that doesn't make you any less of a man. Accepting who you are the way you are makes you a man. So by definition, I'm more of a man then you guys will ever be. And I've probably had more sex with girls then you guys will ever have in your lifetime if you continue being fscktards. ( Having sex with the same partner multiple times counts as different times in my book. ^-^ )

My hope is that one day, everyone will be accepted, no I'll go with tolerated. Asking to be accepted might be too much for some people. So my hope is that one day, everyone will be tolerated the way they are. Perhaps when that day comes, we'll be able to work on accepting each other.

Until then, this is me signing off.

Saturday Morning Cartoons

Hey all,

Yeah I know. I've been slacking off on my duties of posting SMC. But I'm back with a vengeance now. And Since I missed a couple of weeks, you'll get not one, not two, but four different cartoon intros this week. What can I say I'm generous that way. :P So without further ado here are your cartoons:

Spider-man 1967

Rocket Robin Hood

The Mighty Hercules

Mach Go Go Go! (Speed Racer)

I would've loved to put in the english version of the intro here. But the only two videos available have disallowed embeding so you're stuck with the better Japanese version. :P I don't know why I decided to go totally retro right now. It felt appropriate I guess. Still, those four shows have been a part of my childhood and I'm sure at least one has been a part of yours. God I remember watching Rocket Robin and Hercules with my dad.

Speed Racer came later in my life like when I was a teenager. But at that point I was so much into Anime that I did care if it was old school. It used to air on YTV back in the 90's.

Good times. ^-^

Until then, this is me signing off.

Saturday Morning Cartoons

Hey all,

Yet again we will delve into our collective childhood to rummage through old memories of the past. Today I bring an entry that has two intros. But are at the same time very different. ( You'll understand better when you'll watch them. ) So without further ado, I present to you:

The Real Ghostbusters

And also: Ghostbusters

I can actually hear you say: "What the frak?!". I know, I was very confused too when I was younger. Especially since I really loved the GhostBusters movie. You can imagine my surprise the first time I saw two GhostBusters show in the TV Guide and was treated to two very different shows. I just thought it would be double the proton pack fun. The second show turned out to have a Gorilla in it.

Still, Ghostbusters had it's own thing going for it. And I have to admit it was pretty interesting none the less. In fact, I think my dad preferred this one instead of The Real Ghostbusters show with Peter, Ray, Egon and Winston. It was based on a live-action television show for kids in the 70's called The Ghost Busters.

Apparently there was a big brou-ha-ha made about the licensing of the name when it came time to make the cartoons. So the cartoon based on the movie was named the Real Ghostbusters just to differentiate the two series.

So now you know... and knowing is half the battle. ^w^

Until then, this is me signing out
